Born in Brooklyn and raised in Lakeview, Long Island, Rasheda Crockett is a dynamic force in the entertainment industry. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, Rasheda has made significant strides in both comedy and television. Rasheda is best known for her role as Tracey Davis in the BET original series "Bigger," produced by Will Packer. The series was a flagship show for the launch of the BET+ platform, showcasing her talent to a wide audience. Her journey in comedy began at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she honed her skills in improv and sketch comedy. Her independently produced sketches on YouTube caught the attention of CBS, leading to her selection as a writer/performer in the prestigious CBS Showcase in 2019, from thousands of applicants. As a staff writer, Rasheda's episode "Adam Ruins Guns" from "Adam Ruins Everything" was chosen out of over 30 episodes to be submitted for a HUMANTIS Award, highlighting her impactful writing. She also contributed as a staff writer on TruTV's "Talk Show the Game Show," further refining her comedic writing and joke crafting abilities. In 2023, Rasheda was a member of the Anthem Award-winning Climate Comedy Cohort, which produced 30 original videos for Comedy Central. These videos reached over 2 million people, with an additional 300,000 through shares. Her YouTube series, "The Rasheda Crockett Sketch Comedy Show," won a Silver W3 Award in 2023, cementing her status as a leading comedian and content creator. Rasheda Randle comes from Indianapolis, Indiana by way of Evansville, Indiana. A Jane-of-all-trades; she is an award-winning actress and an accomplished filmmaker, writer, director/producer of TV, stage, and film, TV personality, and event/red carpet host. Rasheda graduated from Indiana State University with a BS in Radio/TV/Film; she was among the first graduating class of the music video production program at the New York Film Academy, and received her MBA in Marketing and Human Resources from Indiana Institute of Technology. Rasheda got her start in the industry as an intern for BET's Rap City: The Basement, but eventually returned to Indiana to work in broadcast news at Indy's local Fox station; and soon began freelancing as a production assistant for network reality TV shows and game shows. Realizing that acting is her true passion, Rasheda made the transition to stage, then to film, and later to TV as a host and reporter for Real Scene TV - an entertainment show that airs on Indy's NBC affiliate. To date, Rasheda has starred in more than two dozen films and stage plays; and has appeared in network TV shows such as, Fox's Shots Fired, Investigation Discovery's Swamp Murders, and TV One's Fatal Attraction. She was voted Best Actress at the TPN Film Fest (February and December 2016), was named Best Actress at the 2017 TPN Awards, and received the 2017 Artist of Influence award at the Peach Theatre Awards. Rasheda is the creative visionary of Ivy League Productions LLC, and the creator of The Actor's Roundtable - a workshop designed to share tools, resources, and knowledge about the business side of maintaining an acting career. Most recently, she has embarked on, yet another, goal-smashing journey, as the CEO and director of the Circle City Film Festival. Though her passion is acting, Rasheda's ultimate goal is to build a brand known for providing opportunities for other artists through creative content and storytelling.
