Matteo Stefan

Matteo Stefan

Matteo Stefan spent his early years playing high level hockey. He was the captain for the North Shore Winter Club Bantam AAA team before being scouted by the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL. While preparing for his first BCHL season as a sixteen year old, Matteo decided to walk away from hockey to pursue a career in acting. Although he starred in numerous commercials as a young child actor, it wasn't until his late high school years that he discovered a real love for film and television. Despite wishing to pursue a career in acting however, Matteo also felt a strong desire to obtain a post-secondary education. In 2014, he was accepted into the prestigious Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. While balancing a demanding school curriculum, Matteo spent his late teens slowly building up his TV and film credits, while simultaneously working towards completing an undergraduate degree in Finance. His most notable credits being in the film titled 'Cocaine Godmother' (2017), where he played the eldest son of Oscar winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, and his guest appearance in TV Series 'Riverdale' (2018). Just this past year, after much hard work and dedication, Matteo officially completed his university degree. He was hired immediately out of university as a junior investment banker but after a brief period, he quickly reverted his focus back to pursuing his true passion for film and television. Matteo is currently writing his first feature film, of which he plans to star in and bring to market sometime late next year. When he's not acting, he's an active investor in the stock market, managing portfolios for both his family and friends.
