Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni

Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, a native New Yorker, is an award-winning actress and multimedia artist with a devoted international fan following. Born into a family of Opera professionals, she began performing in her father's Opera company at the tender age of three. As a young child, she moved to Rome, Italy, where she spent her formative years. She returned to the USA upon being honored with a scholarship offered to her by The Second City's famous Training Center for Improvisation in Chicago, IL, breeding ground for many of today's premiere comic talent (Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Mike Myers). Cataldi-Tassoni is best known for her film work (Opera. Mother of Tears, The Dirt, Phantom of the Opera) with renowned European directors such as legendary filmmakers Dario Argento, Pupi Avati and Lamberto Bava In 2011, Coralina starred in Baggage Claim, directed by Golden Globe winner Irene Miracle (Midnight Express). She has performed alongside the late Oscar nominee Pete Postlethwaite (The Usual Suspects), John Hannah (The Mummy, Sliding Doors, Spartacus), Asia Argento (Go-Go-Tales, Marie Antoinette, New Rose Hotel) to name a few. This uniquely versatile artist, graces many creative arenas with her talent: singer-songwriter, produced screenwriter, and former columnist for the online newspaper La Voce di New York where her successful bi-lingual column, Coralina Of The Miracles, until today is enthusiastically and avidly followed by many readers. "Everything and everyone has a sound, and every sound has an image. My memories, my voice, the voices of others, eyes, hands, situations, objects, cities, lips, streets, rain, moon, smiles, toys, pebbles. Everything. Everyone and everything are notes. Sounds. I feel them. I hear them. I am those sounds. My painting, all my artistic expressions, are translations of those sounds." Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni's love of music has not only translated itself into colors, but also fueled her to compose music for film and produce her album Limbo Balloon, containing eclectic works which she likes to call "Arias", embodying an array of influences from Rock & Roll, New Wave, and Opera. Coralina has performed her music in venues in the USA and Canada. Coralina's desire to explore her creativity has allowed her to blossom into a very successful painter. Her solo exhibits have gathered high praise within Manhattan's art scene. Her art, which she simply signs "Coralina", has been displayed in the USA and Europe. This prolific artist's clientele includes many illustrious international film-makers and performers. Coralina's career has been celebrated in numerous publications. The book Coralina: Life is Art/Art is Life, edited by Huffington Post and La Repubblica journalist Filippo Brunamonti has been added to the research department at the New York Public Library for The Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Coralina shares "Story by" credit with award winning director Mariano Baino, on stereoscopic movie Hidden 3D. The movie is an English language, Canadian/Italian co-production, which counts among its producers Oscar winner Don Carmody. In September 2016, Coralina won an Award of Excellence the category of Actress: Leading at the Best Shorts Competition for her courageous and emotionally wrenching performance in Lady M 5.1. A short film where she plays Lady Macbeth in the screen adaptation of Macbeth's Act 5 Scene 1, by the great William Shakespeare. The film is directed by the award winning director Mariano Baino. She also expressly created for the short, the original soundtrack and designed the costumes along with joining Baino in production design. The short film, has had the honor to be screened in numerous prestigious venues such as Mana Contemporary, The Anthology Film Archives in NYC, and on October 31st 2017, had its European Premier at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome (Macro). On June 16, 2019 A Moving Read, the Sci-Fi/Fantasy short film starring Cataldi-Tassoni, filmed in Naples, Italy and directed by Mariano Baino, had its World Premiere at the Fantafestival in Rome. Coralina also created the music for A Moving Read. Baino and Cataldi-Tassoni also made the short film/promo announcing the Festival. During the event Cataldi-Tassoni and Baino were individually honored with Fantafestival's "Silver Bat Career Achievement Award". Astrid's Saints, LLC is the production company she co-owns with director Mariano Baino. The two artists have come together on numerous occasions to produce their own projects. Amongst the list of creative endeavors is the feature film Astrid's Saints, which she co-wrote and co-produced with director Mariano Baino. On September 10 2024, Astrid's Saints had its World Premiere at L'Ètrange Festival in Paris, France. Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni lives with her two rescue dogs Dreamer and Zungolito.

Corbin Pitts is a filmmaker, actor, and Eagle Scout who also enjoys soccer, playing percussion, scuba diving, singing, and dancing, in addition to writing, directing, and editing films with his own production company, Heroe Productions Entertainment LLC. He has been acting since he was five and started his production company when he was only eleven. Corbin is a BFA Film/Television and Acting major at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. TV credits: Corbin can be seen as the recurring character, Mike Ardoin, in True Detective Season 3 on HBO, recurring character, Stockboy Sam, in Mystery League on PBS Kids and AR PBS, and as Fisher Davis in the TV pilot, Catch-Em Lane.
