Tatu Heikkinen is a Finnish independent filmmaker. His work embraces experimentation and abstraction with an emphasis on atmosphere. His filmmaking process is highly personal and collaborative, working alongside his wife, cinematographer Veleda Thorsson- Heikkinen.
