American actor Mark Hengst is known for roles on Dirty John (2018), Chicago Fire (2015), Silicon Valley (2015) and CSI: NY (2014). Hengst was born in Wisconsin and raised in Michigan in a family of four brothers and one sister by immigrant parents from the Netherlands. Hengst majored in criminal justice in college with studies in drama which led to acting in plays, commercials and stints as a model. After a successful career as an investigator, it was interest by industry people in Los Angeles that convinced Hengst to pursue acting professionally. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Mark immediately landed roles in films, television and commercials launching his successful career as an actor.
